As a French to English translator, your attention to detail is legendary and you have a keen interest in translating diverse content that will meet the needs of Ubisoft Montreal's various internal, external and corporate audiences.

Under the supervision of Ubisoft Montreal's Communications Manager, you will work in a multidisciplinary team where you will translate and revise texts of various types, including corporate, administrative, journalistic, etc.

On the one hand, you enjoy working independently, but on the other hand, you also like to interact with teams and colleagues, as well as the iterative writing work that follows. You describe your greatest pride when your work results in accurate, well-written, and perfectly tailored communication for all.

Your natural curiosity and passion for communications drive you to always want to know and understand more about the subject matter you are translating and editing for, as well as the teams you interact with. You provide careful and attentive support to the teams as they research, plan and adapt their messages. All of this is topped off with an impeccable writing style that is both fun and serious.


  • Translate and revise, from French to English, documents produced by all Ubisoft Talents & Communications teams.
  • Ensure clarity of style and respect for the message conveyed by the original text.
  • Manage and respond to translation and revision requests from the various Ubisoft Talents & Communications teams.
  • Ensure that the service provided to the various teams is of the highest quality and meets the sometimes very tight deadlines.
  • Communicate with requesters to obtain clarification and to clarify certain mandates, messages or details relevant to your translation.
  • Meet with various teams in the studio to establish their translation and revision needs and produce content.
  • Be prepared to brave the notorious related tasks.

What you bring to the team:

  • Excellent knowledge and command of French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding of different communication approaches (policies and administrative processes, articles, messages to employees, speeches, various texts, etc.).
  • Ability to prioritize work well. Organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and professional rigor.
  • Ability to work quickly.
  • Great curiosity, resourcefulness and attention to detail.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in translation.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in translation.
