As part of the development of the game Beyond Good and Evil 2, the Montpellier studio is recruiting a Lead Tools Support Specialist (M/F).

Job Description

As a Tools Support Specialist, you will be part of the frontline support team for the project. You will be both a generalist serving the project as a whole, and a specialist in the tools and workflows used by your content production team:

  • You will be faced with simple issues (level 1) on all workflows and tools used by production.

  • You will be faced with more complex issues (level 2) on the workflows and tools under your responsibility.

The role of the «Tools Support Specialist» is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the project as a whole, by using their expertise to improve methodologies and production tools, but also to provide newcomers with training and support.

You will be integrated into the content production teams according to your specialties and responsibilities while being under the responsibility of the project devops team.


  • Provide software technical support to production teams and resolve encountered problems in coordination with engineering teams

  • Support and train newcomers in the workflows and tools they will use

  • Write and maintain documentation related to your specialties

  • Identify internal conflicts in the daily life of content creators

  • Administer access rights to project resources

  • Develop the necessary tools and workflows to achieve your goals


  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar positions required. We are also looking for more experienced profiles.

  • Fluent English (oral and written)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, kindness and a service-oriented approach to users

  • In-depth knowledge of software (scripting/debugging)

  • Good oral and written communication (drafting of documentation, training)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Excellent priority management and organisational skills

  • Pro-active

  • Keen learning ability

  • Familiar with bug tracking and project management tools, and test methodologies (Jira, Mantis etc.)

  • In-depth knowledge of software
