Job Description

Ubisoft Chengdu is looking for a Technical Operation Specialist to support and operate the internal users of Ubisoft internal data products. The products are helping Ubisoft AAA online game teams analyze their big data and make data driven decisions.

The technical operation specialist will be the bridge between users and the data product Dev team: help users smoothly use the products, on the other side, help the Dev team understand user behavior. Meanwhile, the technical operation specialist is expected and empowered to optimize the supporting procedure.

What you will do

  • Respond to user requests via calls, emails and ticket system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic user issues with tools
  • Train and guide users to use products
  • Bring best practices to users
  • Follow up with users to ensure satisfaction
  • Collect ideas to help Dev team optimize products and tools
  • Optimize the supporting procedure and write supporting documentation

Qualifications

  • College degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Speaking and writing)
  • Empathy for users and ability to work as part of a team
  • At least 1 year of product technical support experience
  • Knowledge of database, SQL writing
  • Knowledge of one or more script languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of big data would be a plus
