Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Game Designer with strong technical and communication skills to join a diverse team with studios around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Have understanding of game engines and technical constrains and provides information necessary for design to the team

  • Work with engineers and define tools and systems required for the projects

  • Implement in-game UI with visual scripting tools of internal game engines

  • Implement in-game features from prototype to polish

  • Solve technical issues in collaboration with team members

  • Documentation on technical design

  • Actively share knowledge with other technical game designers and/or engineers to develop technical skills of the team

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • At least three years of experience on video-game development with using internal/external game engines

  • At least three years of experience on visual scripting tools such as UE4 BluePrint

  • Prior experience in crafting User Interfaces within internal and/or external game engines or prior experience in UX architecture and UI Development

  • Interested in problem solving, troubleshooting, and investigating tech issues

Mindset:

  • Being open-minded and ability to take flexible actions depending on situations

  • Ability to build good relationship with team member and work closely with them in a team with diversity and inclusion.

  • Open to work in English environment

Language:

  • Fluent in English or Japanese, and have strong motivation to learn the other language
