It innovated within the franchise as the studio behind the naval battle gameplay and water technology in Assassin’s Creed® III, Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag® and most recently in Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla. Its expertise in AAA and live operations, combined with a passion for naval gameplay, pushed the team to lead the development of Skull and Bones™ revealed at E3 in 2017.

JOB DESCRIPTION

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

As a Technical Animator Intern, you are responsible for the development, adaptation, and implementation of the technical aspect of Animation and methods, in order to carry out the animation style of the game within the defined technical constraints.

  • Assist in building realization systems, debugging issues and adopting the best practices while maintaining the quality of the realizations;

  • Assist with integration of animated assets in the engine;

  • Communicate regularly with Gameplay Programmers, Designers and Animators to in providing game engine solutions;

  • Useful skills: Animation logic states, scripting, problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A background in 3D Animation, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is a plus;

  • Understanding of animation fundamentals, rigging and skinning;

  • A passion for videogame development, with a positive attitude;

  • Good capacity to communicate verbally as well as written;

  • Be adaptable, approachable and positive in the workplace;

  • A passion for sharing your knowledge and helping others learn and grow;

  • Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility;

  • Familiarity with animation graph and state machine;

  • C#, python knowledge;

  • Prior experiences in game engines is a plus.
