Job Description

As a Strategic Planning Analyst at Ubi MTL, you'll help game producers across our three main Canadian studios (Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto) develop their additional revenue streams and create their content roadmap by evaluating, forecasting, and making suggestions.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with production teams to gather information about their business models and monetization strategies to produce additional revenue forecasts.
  • Carry out game performance analyses and give presentations on behalf of production teams and upper management.
  • Develop tools and dashboards to improve revenue tracking + provide production teams with visibility on performance indicators.
  • Support producers in evolving their monetization plan and content roadmap.
  • Initiate and participate in transversal ad-hoc projects to support our studios on topics related to revenue and game monetization.
  • Assess the market to keep our studios up to date on what’s going on externally.


Qualifications

What you bring

  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position (in the video game industry a huge plus)
  • Time management, attention to detail, and proactivity
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
  • Solid English and French communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the video game market
  • Mastery of Excel (understanding of Tableau, an asset)
