Job Description

The role of our legal teams is to provide relevant, rapid and innovative legal solutions to the various stakeholders, adopting an operational prism.

As a business partner to top management, HR and Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility teams, you are at the heart of the Group's human and structural challenges.

Your mission is to listen and provide expert, pragmatic advice, while respecting Ubisoft's culture and values.

Your missions will be the following :

As a Senior Employment Lawyer, your days will be punctuated by advising and supporting teams at head office and locally, on a variety of legal subjects, rarely conventional, often disruptive and with significant multicultural legal implications :

Participation in the definition, implementation and support of HR projects at Group level, aimed in particular at harmonizing and developing practices and policies on a variety of subjects, including:

  • Compensation and benefits,

  • Intra-group mobility, including secondments, expatriations, international portage, etc,

  • Recruitment procedures, career management, drawing up, implementing and monitoring employment contracts for top management,

Advice on the management of staff representation bodies and trade unions, at international level;

  • Advisory on the management of staff representation bodies and trade union organizations at an international level.

  • More generally, daily collaboration with operational teams (production & technology), Social Relations, Data Protection, Corporate Tax, Diversity Inclusion, and Accessibility teams on the social law implications of innovative projects, taking into account local legal and cultural specificities.

  • Support for corporate projects, transformation, and evolution of organizations at an international level.

  • Occasional advice and support for HR teams on the management of litigation at an international level.

  • Contribution alongside leadership teams and support for working groups created around innovative projects.

  • Additionally, you are vigilant about any changes in the legal landscape and HR developments in the video game industry and other disruptive industries that could have a direct or indirect impact on human-related topics.

Finally, you will support, accompany, and train HR teams around the world in the best legal practices in social law.

Qualifications

  • As a labor law professional, you must have a very solid experience in similar positions in international contexts, and at least one significant experience within an international company.

  • You have a strong legal education in social law, are curious about foreign legislations and HR practices, and have a solid international legal culture.

  • You demonstrate leadership, have excellent interpersonal skills, and know how to develop positive and constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levels and international (operational, HR, executives).

  • You have precise legal analysis skills and excellent writing abilities.

  • Extremely rigorous, you have a positive mindset, intellectual creativity, adaptability, and the ability to solve problems based on risk analysis.

  • You are agile, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and delivering results in a fast-paced and demanding context.

  • You are autonomous while also having a strong team spirit.

  • Your level of English is bilingual, both written and spoken: a significant portion of your interlocutors will be English-speaking.
