About the Role
You are responsible for the engine graphic features, collaborate with artist and designer to make sure the visual quality and the performance. Give the best experience to the players.
What you will do
Based on Ubisoft's in-house game engine, and in cooperation with technical art, responsible for the technical research and development of the graphics rendering pipeline, improve the quality of the game visuals and improve performance.
Optimize the rendering pipeline and graphics algorithm for console & mobile platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android & iOS.
Analysis of graphics technical difficulties and provide solutions, such as culling optimization.
Graphics optimization technology
Provide suggestions and develop corresponding tools for the game development process for debug purpose.
Research & provide technical solutions for customized terrain, water & weather visual effect simulation & optimization
What you will bring
Familiar with c/c++/c#, familiar at least one script language; Familiar with basic game engine architecture, have the ability to locate and modify engine features.
Familiar with GPU architecture and shader language; Familiar with basic lighting mode and the structure of render pipeline; Have the experience of selecting graphic tech solution for different platforms.
Familiar with 3D artist workflow(Modeling, Level, Animation), have the ability to give the solution and direction of production pipeline.
