Since opening its doors in 2008, Ubisoft Singapore has become the biggest AAA game development studio in Southeast Asia. Job Description

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

As a Senior Game Designer, you will shape our player's journey, innovate and develop progression features, and find balance with our in-game economy. To do this, you'll collaborate with a team of Progression, Monetization, Combat Designers and the wider dev team with the support of your Lead, an Associate Producer, and our Game Directors.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Take part in game design creation, both system and content creation

  • Provide the team with very detailed documents

  • Ambience and characters' descriptions

  • Gameplay intentions

  • Game systems, modes

  • Game pipelines

  • Work on menu design and functions

  • Applications: Controls, AI, Camera, Health systems, Movements

Qualifications

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • A few years of experience & expertise in Progression & Economy design, especially for online games

  • Relevant experience working on AAA titles is a plus, current and next-gen consoles

  • Ability to accept critique, ability to listen

  • Excellent sense for player-centric design

  • Excellent communicator (spoken and written) and good interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team​​​​​
