Job Description

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

We’re currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to help our team on their next adventure. You will join an international and successful team and will report to the Tech Lead.

  • Provide Software Engineering oriented background ( or equivalent ) and relative best practices
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and support the development team(s) to embrace DevOps principles
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members on best practices in automation and operations, with focus on development
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members on Monitoring, Observability and Security principles, in correlation to services already developed or while they are being developed
  • Setup Monitoring Dashboards for game team(s) on Grafana and support the relative team(s) in embracing metric implementation and visualization on their dashboards
  • Provide basic technical guidance and educate game team(s) around Kubernetes Application Development
  • Setup Helm Charts for game team(s) and support the relative team(s) in packaging properly their services against Kubernetes for service already developed or while they are being developed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as DevOps or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Bash Scripting.
  • Knowledge of AWS.
  • Knowledge of Git and Git LFS.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Groovy, Declarative/Scripted Pipelines and Shared Libraries.
  • Knowledge of Docker or equivalent container technologies.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes Application Development.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes Helm and Helm Charts.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana and PromQL.
  • Be a team player: we use agile development methods, where the team members are in permanent contact. Open mind and good communication skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail, meticulous and organized working habits. Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position is a must.

Bonus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field. Master’s degree in any of these disciplines is a Plus.
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures and AWS cloud.
  • Knowledge around Infrastructure as Code best practices.
  • Knowledge around Configuration as Code best practices.
  • Knowledge of Terraform.
  • Passion for games and some knowledge of the games industry.
  • Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
