Job Description

We are looking for a senior accountant to join our growing studio. This person will use their extensive experience of corporate accounting to provide accurate accounting vision of the organization, dealing with complex transactions and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of general ledger accounting functions: journal entry preparation, month-end close processes, GL account reconciliations, analysis of key balance sheet and income statement accounts
Provide variance analysis of operating expense actuals on a monthly basis, ensure proper GL account and department coding of expenses and accruals, and review trends
Proactive coordination with internal business partners, including but not limited to: Group Accounting Team, Payroll, Legal, Finance (FP&A) - communicate guidance for proper accounting principles/objectives and take initiative for improvement of current accounting processes
Accurate and detailed management of key accounts with timely records and proper source documentation (i.e. prepaids, accrued liabilities, fixed assets)
Facilitate the renewal/creation of process documentation for existing accounting procedures and policies
Work with external auditors to prepare deliverables in accordance with the financial statement audit
Collaborate with France HQ and other business units’ financial and non-financial personnel to coordinate timely preparation of reporting deliverables
Oversee payment process and follow up on any issues
Preparation and submission of all statutory tax calculations and reports in accordance with CIT Law, VAT Law, PIT Law and other relevant tax regulation
Representing the company in front of Tax Municipality in case of Tax control
Work with the Controller on other ad-hoc analyses or projects as requested

Qualifications

Must have:

Extensive experience in corporate accounting
Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts, local GAAP and IFRS, intercompany transactions
Excellent Excel skills and experience of manipulating large data sets

Nice to have:

Experience in the IT industry
Prior experience with business intelligence software and ERP systems
