As a Realization designer at Ubisoft Paris you will be working together with the team at Massive Entertainment to create a new story-driven open-world video game set in the Star Wars galaxy. Our goal is to create a game and a story that bring both new and lifelong fans on an immersive and outstanding journey, which will stay with them for years to come.
Working with the different directions of the project, your assignments will be as follows
Embrace and convey the creation and realization direction
Set up and communicate the realization intentions for the gameplay and cinematics sequences, within the limits of the art direction of the game
Establish the production needs to ensure the feasibility of said intentions
Ensure the preparation for the filming of the different scenes (cutting, storyboarding, framing, animatics, lighting …)
Collaborate with the programmers on technical topics related to the realization
Good understanding of the constraints of realization within a video game. A previous experience in the audiovisual industry will be appreciated
A large video games and pop culture will help you succeed in this role
Understanding of the filmmaking dos and donts and ability to translate them to the video game medium
A former experience on games with a strong cinematographic ambition will be appreciated
Understand the technical requirements of a game engine and in real time setups
Autonomy and proactivity
Great communication skills
Organizational skills are a must
Fluent French and English are mandatory
