Job Description

As a member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for managing initiatives, partnerships and projects related to the Entrepreneurs in Quebec program, reviewing and improving existing tools, while ensuring their proper functioning and sustainability.

You will be the point of contact during all phases of projects: identifying opportunities and needs in collaboration with the various internal and external stakeholders, analyzing them, proposing solutions, implementing them and documenting their impact.

You must be able to operate established B2B and B2C partnerships and set up new alliances that structure the Quebec techno-creative ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Track the progress of initiatives, provide expert advice on projects and regularly communicate achievements and status to stakeholders;
  • Meet with partners, collect, analyze and understand their needs and ensure their understanding and involvement in future steps;
  • Define and apply the best methods and practices and participate in their progress and implementation;
  • Ensure effective project management and respect constraints such as quality, budget and deadlines;
  • Understand the processes, workflows and interrelationships within and between departments and collaborate with internal partner departments to orchestrate and facilitate the implementation of optimal solutions and/or projects and workshops;
  • Complete project closure activities (balance sheet, post-mortem, accounting) and ensure regular reporting on the status of its projects;
  • Liaise between the technical and non-technical departments to ensure that partner techno-creative companies can navigate the structure;
  • Ensure the quality of communications in close collaboration with the communications and corporate affairs teams;
  • Stay abreast of trends in entrepreneurship and innovation and share them with team members.

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial and management experience in an independent video game studio, an accelerator/incubator or a techno-creative company an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing;
  • A sense of creativity and innovation;
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, initiative and leadership skills;
  • Ability to be self-motivated and self-managing while acting as a team player;
  • Bilingualism French and English both written and spoken.
