Job Description

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

As a Project Coordinator, you are the front-line manager, working with a team of production professionals to ensure the delivery of the highest quality games. You facilitate processes, methods, and tools to deliver the game project following the best practices established by the organization

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prioritize tasks, identifies risks and suggests relevant solutions
  • Communicate with the Project Manager daily to ensure accurate, up to date information is provided regarding work done, time, and risks
  • Coordinate efforts, synchronize and prioritize with other Project Coordinators
  • Communicate regularly with Technical Directors and Leads to always have the latest information
  • Communicate revisions, changes and information related to the game
  • Act as a Scrum Master, facilitate sprint planning, conduct daily standup meetings, hold sprint retrospective meetings, hold sprint reviews, and organize Scrum teams.
  • Carry out routine daily tasks and procedures of the project
  • Assist in the development of schedules that translate project goals into action and work to ensure the success of the project
  • Monitor the schedule, budget, and deadlines, raising risks as appropriate
  • Promote and facilitate process improvements
  • Taking meeting notes and communicate them to all relevant parties
  • Assist the team in adhering to project schedule and budgets
  • Assist the Project Manager on staff planning and seating plan changes
  • Assist in coordination of company assets
  • Facilitate team building events
  • Interact with external vendors to source required resources or assets
  • Interact with studio teams such as IT, workplace, procurement, and marketing teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the production team
  • Expense reporting

Qualifications

  • Degree in business, management, communications, or software development is an asset
  • A few years of experience in a related field (e.g., media, technology) is a strong asset
