Job Description

You will assist the producer to produce the entire game. The role has a major emphasis on collaboration, project management, organization, communication, solving dependencies, blockers, and risk mitigation.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Product Owner to define the Product Backlog, Priorities and Deliveries.

  • Work with the Production Team to define the production plan and realize the plan on time, on budget and on quality.

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks that could jeopardize the project in advance.

  • Work close with production team and help to remove any blockers for them.

  • Major driver of the project related workshop and team activities.

  • Optimize the production/co-dev processes, methods and tools to maximize productivity.

  • Mobilize and inspire the team; foster positive team collaboration.

  • Ensure good visibility on production progress, achievements, risks and dependencies to the production team and partners through efficient communication and visual aids.

  • Coach the production team and junior project management team with best production practices and project management methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent experience and skills in project management role in gaming industry.

  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum and experience as scrum master.

  • Went through the whole game production cycle, from conception to launch and live operation.

  • Excellent presentation, organization, time management, and cross-department communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and Mandarin.

  • Familiar with project management and office tools, such as Jira, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong passion on playing and creating video games.

Bonus points:

  • Scrum Master or PMP certificates.

  • Experience of working on PC/Mobile games as project management role.

  • Experience of outsourcing management
