Job Description

We are looking for a Production Analyst Lead to join our Production Analytics team. You will be responsible for the team working on visualizing, monitoring, analyzing, and providing all data related to game production control. This data will be used to provide visibility and predictability of our game productions, allowing producers to make informed decisions, measure progress, mitigate risks, plan ahead, and improve the way we make games. In this role you will work with several different data sources, ranging from HR and financial data to data from our project tracking software, version control software and build pipeline. Reporting to the Game Intelligence Director, you’ll collaborate with different stakeholders (Producers and Directors) across the organization to understand the needs and to communicate findings and recommendations to production.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

What you’ll do

  • Utilizing data and KPIs to provide insights and guidance to production teams.

  • Working with producers to identify what data and visualizations are needed to improve visibility and predictability.

  • Establishing how data and insights will be reported and ensure the accuracy and relevance of the reporting.

  • Monitoring production data and providing ongoing risk assessment, flagging any trends or KPIs that are off target.

  • International travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

You’re interested in videogames and find joy discussing statistics and data technologies. You have experience with extracting, transforming and loading data from different sources and know how to visualize and communicate insights in an actionable way. For you to excel in this role you need to have a perspective on both business and production analysis, with a good understanding of agile project management principles for large projects. You feel confident in creating precise visualizations and presenting data tailored to your different audiences. You are comfortable and experienced working with senior stakeholders and know how to communicate constructively, as well as explaining and adapting complex information to the audience. It is important that you understand production and the factors that are important for it to run smoothly and efficiently. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills:

  • Proficient in creating user-friendly data visualizations in big organizations with huge interfaces (using Tableau and Power BI)

  • Knowledge in software production processes and principles

  • Experience developing a team within data analytics or similar

  • Advanced knowledge in SQL, Pyspark, Spark and Python languages

  • Experience working with Jira

  • Experience working with Git

  • Knowledge in game production methodologies is beneficial
