1492 Studio, which joined the Ubisoft family in 2018, was founded by two experts of Free To Play games ecosystem. The Studio is behind the hit games "Is it Love?" and continues to develop new universes and new games around the world.

Role

As Producer, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating development teams for the two main games of the Is It Love? portfolio through the whole development timeline on multiple interactive narrative projects and missions. You will work with cross-functional teams consisting of artists, writers, UX designers, engineers, internal and external partners but also in synch with marketing and live performance needs, to drive with agility the development process, bring the games to the market and follow their sustainability on the long-run . You will be required to provide clear guidelines and key success factors at all stages of development and over the live period, track schedules, identify current and future risks, and troubleshoot communication and dependency problems.

Missions

  • Coordinate a cross-functional team in order to deliver incredibly compelling, high quality interactive narrative mobile games
  • Plan and oversee the projects, at the detailed and short term level, in a very agile manner
  • Ensure the game vision is respected and achieved through the whole development phase & from the launch over the live period
  • Deploy, help improve, and advocate all the production processes and pipelines put in place, through direct communication with the teams and via coordinated agile tools
  • Develop and maintain schedules for all the functional areas of development of the project to ensure timings and goals are always respected
  • Coordinate relationship with Head Quarter Mobile teams like RMM, QC teams and Line Producing among others
  • Increase synergies between the different projects of the Studio
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of our games, the productivity of our teams and the efficiency of our processes

Qualifications

  • Solid experience as Producer in the video game industry
  • Candidate must have shipped at least one mobile game
  • Experience managing an agile cross functional team on intermediate projects size
  • Strong project management skills: well organized, agile and reactive, used to very tight schedule and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of video games production problematics
  • Ability to analyze problems and extract solutions with the right people, then take actions to solve them
  • A good free-to-play game culture is a plus
  • Fluent English
