Job Description

Ubisoft is seeking a PR Team Project Manager to work within our PR team. This role’s primary job is to ensure that the PR team’s product launches, Ubisoft News articles, Content Creator projects, Event Teams events, Corporate Communication projects are tracked, monitored, organized and updated in order to streamline workflows throughout the various departments within the team.

While not part of the strategy and creative development, this role is critical to the execution of key PR initiatives and projects led by the PR team. They will collaborate closely and communicate with several cross-team departments including game production studios, Brand Management, Content Marketing, Web Production, Creative Services, Community Development, Ubisoft Film & Television, and the PR agency of record.

This will be a permanent position and will report to the Senior Director, Public Relations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Public Relations Process Execution Framework:

  • Establish worldwide calendar structures, processes and management within the team
  • Create and manage clear processes and expectations within the team
  • Implement asset sharing model(s) with existing resources and shuttling tools. Communicate the model to recipients
  • Communicate the process execution model (the “how”) and onboard new PR team members

Team Ceremonies:

  • Own and facilitate updates and retrospectives during high traffic windows
  • Ensure that daily reviews, weekly syncs, and cross functional meetings are scheduled, as appropriate

Project Management:

  • Promote operational excellence through business processes.
  • Work with PR team leads to develop and manage project timelines and drive internal processes
  • Collect and catalogue information and updates from the PR team into the system/network/resource for tracking, management and oversight
  • Communicate all PR schedules on a regular basis amongst key stakeholders, including the PR team, cross-functional teams, CAN/LATAM, Corp HQ and EMEA
  • Manage deadlines and adjust quickly and deftly within dynamic work environment
  • Work with PR team to ensure all processes and tools are current and that efficiencies are assessed on an ongoing basis
  • Handle additional PR special projects and help support the team
  • Possible event staffing, work travel and work-related training required

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • BS or BA in marketing, communications, or business
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, public relations, project management environment. Experience working within an agency environment a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to persevere and find order in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing variables
  • General knowledge of public relations and marketing terminology as it relates consumer products, online marketing, influencer relations; general video game industry experience a plus
  • Entertainment experience in video games, movies, television, music or related fields a plus
  • Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Creative, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Self-confident, motivated, and builds trust with others
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good organization skills, and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
