As a Local IT Technician (m/f/d) you are responsible for delivering on-site support on the hardware and software of Ubisoft employees. You have a passion for simplifying things and support us in the continuous optimization of IT-supported processes.

Your tasks:

  • Support of the local network, clients and software
  • Support of the local conferencing and meeting infrastructure
  • Support of internal as well as external events
  • Support of our users on site (1st and 2nd level support)
  • Conception, provision and maintenance of the internally required hardware and software equipment
  • Support and implementation of OS installation and software distribution
  • Application and monitoring of data and security guidelines
  • Active participation in documentation, knowledge base, IT policies and process evolutions
  • Site / Event IT asset management
  • Interact with external vendors regarding repair of hardware

Qualifications

  • Completed training in the IT field, e.g. Information Technology, or equivalent studies; MCSE, MCSA or MCP certification
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in in technical support to end users.
  • Very good knowledge of all current and relevant technologies
  • Ability and enthusiasm to quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics
  • Very good English skills (written and oral) with excellent communication skills
  • Great team spirit

  • Logical-analytical thinking skills
  • Sound knowledge of current operating systems such as Windows, Linux, MacOS and Microsoft Office applications
  • Sound conceptual and technical knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures
  • Basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, Ethernet, WIFI)
  • Flexibility and service orientation
  • Strong communication skills and solution orientation

Desirable:

  • Advanced network knowledge (CISCO)
  • Experience with Powershell / Scripting
