JOB DESCRIPTION

Mission:

As Game Designer you will be responsible for designing and balancing features, systems, features, and game content that will encourage the player to invest in a game in order to enhance his experience.
You will work closely with designers, producers, engineers and artists during the production, launch and live operations of mobile fermium games and report to the Senor Live performance Manager

What you will do:

  • Design, prototype and champion the economic systems to drive players to invest in our game economy (in- game, across multiple platforms and on-line services)
  • Recommend rewards and monetization game features to create an economic system to fulfill player needs
  • Contribute and develop game features/systems design that improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization
  • Balancing and adjusting game-play experiences to ensure critical and commercial success
  • Balance game pacing/progression and in-game resources/economy to both ensure the long term retention of players and to optimize monetization
  • Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods; balance free content vs. paid currency in the game economy
  • Respond to feedback, analytics, and test results in a constructive manner with logical and reasoned suggestions/solutions to improve on designs
  • Create and maintain living documentation for all game aspects
  • Research and remain current on industry trends including new game genres, design methods, game themes and mechanics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a game designer for F2P games in China market
  • Strong knowledge and experience with online/multi-player/social games or free to play
  • Solid experience with monetization, game balancing, social features, reward structure, viral aspects
  • Experience with statistics and game analytics
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written)
