At Ubisoft, we aspire to be a workplace where EVERYONE is supported, empowered and invited to join the game. We believe that by prioritising equity and inclusivity, we fuel creative endeavours and craft gameplay experiences that reflect and respect our uniquely talented game-makers and outstanding players.

The Role

As a Lead Art Technician you are a people-centric person who relishes supporting and mentoring a close knit team. You’re a problem solver who loves to collaborate with artists and technical artists to ensure timely feedback on quality and content issues.

Being a passionate team leader, you will be a role model in promoting and living our core values. You’ll thrive on driving success through your team by giving them the tools and support they need to continue progressing in their career.

To you, it’s an opportunity to work on something new and exciting, a unique and varied role in a project that piques your interest and pushes your boundaries. You’re the kind of person who understands the value of collaboration and clear communication. You enjoy seeing your contribution to the bigger picture and value the opportunity to play a key part in an important project.

As our next Lead Art Technician, you will play an integral part in working alongside Technical Art and the Art teams to ensure the correct technical set-up, maintenance, and optimisation of art assets, the delivery of high calibre and performative art assets and environments, and a great player experience. This role largely involves having an in-depth understanding of technical set-up and budget requirements and using checklists to adhere to our high-quality standards.

What you'll bring

At Ubisoft, we aim to be a destination of choice for the best talent. We want people like you, who will be instrumental in driving our studios to success.

  • An ability to lead – you’re a people person who is a strong advocate for your team. You bring a high level of emotional intelligence and can communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • The ability to drive the testing, validation, optimisation and feedback processes for the technical setup and functionality of Art content

  • Experience of championing the use of debug tools and validation scripts to identify, investigate and fix Art related set-up problems in the game world and asset library;
