Under the united vision of Ubisoft China, the Junior Event Specialist will play an integral role in promoting Ubisoft Chengdu and Ubisoft China as the best place to thrive. He/she will assist the Communication Designer in organizing and delivering high-impact and creative events that will increase the pride of employees, raise awareness on Ubisoft and its products, as well as support the business ambition of project teams.

• Assist the Communication Designer in planning and executing creative and immersive events for internal celebrations including game launches, gaming and CSR events, and festivals.
• Assist the Communication Designer in coordinating with the internal Employee Committee to plan and execute the two major events of the year: Summer Anniversary and Winter Party.
• Handle communication with vendors and/or stakeholders for internal events.
• Track event costs, ensuring the event stays within budget.
• Coordinate the employee clubs

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills (both in Chinese and English)
• Proactive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to perform in an ever-changing environment while meeting deadlines
• Creative and detail-driven
• Energetic, enthusiastic, with a keen interest of the gaming industry
• Graphic Design skills are a plus
• Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, PR, or Mass Communications is preferred.
