Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The International Product Manager is part of the International Brand Strategy studio marketing team, a team which leads the international marketing strategy of the brand through all phases of launch and post-launch. The team sits with the Production team responsible for development of the game and acts as a liaison between the production team’s vision for the game and the worldwide publishing teams’ translation of that vision to apply to local markets. Additionally, the team is responsible for producing and delivering global marketing assets, influencing the product quality, line management and growth strategies, and influencing the marketing plans, spends and communication strategies of the publishing teams.
You will be an ambassador for a revolutionary interactive music learning tool, a representative of its target market within its development team. You know our audience – and what they want. Your expertise influences the content that goes into the service as well as the way we communicate about it externally, inspiring musicians – both current and potential – to embark on their musical journey with us. You will collaborate with the International Brand Strategy team to produce the marketing strategy for Rocksmith+, translate them into communications tactics, produce marketing deliverables, and ensure their organization and quality. You will report to the Senior International Product Manager.
Oversee Marketing Deliverables
- Manage marketing deliverables plans, accounting for requests from operational teams, press opportunities, production constraints, production and any adjustments to the communications strategy; including trailers, community assets, in-game screenshots, in-game preview videos, in-game assets optimized for marketing use, as well as sales copy, PR-focused Q&As, and FAQs
- Help review & influence press releases and stage-gate presentations
- Guide the creation of the deliverables with marketing agencies and artists by providing briefs and supervision
- Approve deliverables to ensure both quality & product accuracy
- Assess the performance of the deliverables by setting up tests for key deliverables (demo, trailer) and consulting buzz analysis tools for continued improvement
- Provide feedback to the production team and inform members of upcoming deliverables
Drive day-to-day Relations with Cross-functional Publishing Teams
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for the product, establishing strategic and technical expertise within assigned products
- Navigate the internal processes and workflows of a variety of internal systems and teams
Actively support the Senior International Product Manager
- Participate in the definition of the live marketing strategy for Rocksmith+ with the core development team
- Help translate the positioning of the communications strategy into communications themes, artistic marketing directions, deliverables plans and initial deliverable production
- Work with big data to create strategic recommendations for marketing communications
- Perform competitive analysis & stay up to date with market trends
- Pilot assigned event executions
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Mid level of marketing experience with proven leadership skills
- Good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to parse complex amounts of data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of subscription models or the free-to-play market is a huge plus
- Knowledge of the mobile app market is a plus
- Knowledge and Interest in instrument playing is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, international workplace
- Ability to effectively manage concurrent projects (multitasking)
- Ability to articulate & defend well-reasoned points-of-view, even when unpopular
