JOB DESCRIPTION

Your life at Ubi

As Game Monetization Strategy and Live Performance Director you will maximize the profitability of a AAA game while respecting its identity and improving its experience.

You will define and drive the strategy that enables the game to successfully achieve its targets in terms of financial performance and lifespan.

Your main mission:

The main impact areas of the Game Monetization Strategy and Live Performance Director are related to:

  • Assessing and developing the game’s monetization strategy through guiding design and business model choices;
  • Defining KPIs as well as mechanics for collecting and analyzing data and monitoring the game’s daily and long-term live performance;
  • Propose initiatives to improve acquisition, retention, and monetization in line with market trends and game direction;
  • Working closely with the production team to identify levers that could positively impact game’s financial performance;
  • Ensuring that the business model and game economy design adapt to market and competitive changes;
  • Partnering with the creative team to establish monetization and player retention strategies and designs;
  • Staying up to date on evolving best practices trends with the scope of attaining optimal results, while remaining innovative;
  • Supporting growth and development of the team members under your responsibility (such as monetization directors and data analysts, depending on the project you’re on).

QUALIFICATIONS

The professional value you bring:

  • Preferable Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent;
  • Significant track record of achievements in monetization, administration, financial planning, or digital operations (or other relevant experience);
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and translating data in order to define appropriate performance indicators, resulting in concrete recommendations to guide decision-making;
  • Strong passion for gaming and good understanding of game design (mechanics & systems);
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with online games;
  • Good knowledge of quantitative data.
