What you’ll do as a Game Designer at Ubisoft Connect

As a Game Designer on the Ubisoft Connect team, you’ll create new player features by conceptualizing and designing the building blocks of our upcoming releases in close collaboration with multiple production teams across several Ubisoft studios.

You’ll define engagement systems, keeping in mind both their ergonomics and accessibility. You’ll also adjust our features’ variables for consistency, progress, balancing, and learning. Plus, you’ll dig into our data to find creative ways to improve player engagement and contribute to making Ubisoft Connect the best possible experience – and that’s what truly motivates you!

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Around 5 years of experience in video game development (or other relevant experience)
  • Experience with flow tools (like Miro, draw.io, or Visio), Wikis (e.g. Confluence), and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • An innovative, empathetic, and collaborative spirit
  • Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (part of this position will involve explaining your thought processes to production teams in both written and oral forms)
  • A solid understanding of the market and a passion for video games
  • Knowledge of current trends in social gaming platforms
