Job Description

Ubisoft is looking for an experienced developer, full-stack oriented, to join our IT Department within the Publishing Services team, in order to develop solutions to answer the needs of our users when it comes to content management.

As part of the Content Factory team, you will be working mainly on web projects that allow our creative and publishing teams to build, share, manage and ultimately publish content for our players.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and analysis for coding, testing, integration, debugging and supporting of online applications that best answers clients’ needs;

  • Propose alternative options to improve applications and to reduce effort or technical debt; and understand technical and functional design requirements,

  • Participate in the architecture and design specifications and provide guidance on scalability, performance and security;

  • Support the developed applications in all environments through interaction with Ops teams and CI/CD tools;

  • Work with Project Managers and/or Development Team Leaders to define priorities, build project plans and estimations;

  • Identify and troubleshoots system deficiencies and recommend solutions;

  • Create technical documentation, when relevant, that is quality driven in terms of deliverables;

  • Evaluate risks and impacts of decisions and changes;

  • Determine the potential value of new technologies that support business operations and devise strategies that foster best practices and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Experience with C# and/or React;

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming;

  • Experience with Agile Development approach and practices;

  • Experience with indexing and search engine solutions (Elasticsearch and Algolia) is an asset;

  • Experience with TDD and Unit Testing is an asset;

  • Experience with any CMS / MRM / DAM solution is an asset.
