Job Description

About the role:

The Shanghai studio is looking for a Junior Financial Planning Analyst to become a key member of the dynamic and growing Finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, you will support the management team on all financial planning, P&L analysis and budget optimization of the company.

You will participate to the daily life of the finance process and organization, in direct communication with the accounting team, supporting directors, and studio employees.

What you will do:

  • Support to deliver the financial planning for different business units (gaming, e-commerce, IP licensing), includes timetables, assumptions, target setting and management level presentation slides
  • Support providing recommendations on the continually improvement of tools to support effective financial planning and modeling;
  • Support preparation of monthly report on revenues, profitability and overall business performance, including understanding of key variances, impact on overall achievement of budget, ROIs of marketing activities, identifying risks and providing possible recommendations/countermeasures;
  • Support monthly closing
  • Providing support to department head on financial related matters and contract negotiation
  • Help on the improvement of the reporting process and workflow
  • Other Ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications

What you should be equipped with

  • Major in Finance/Accounting/Business or related field
  • Working experiences (Game/Internet company is a plus) in FP&A position or business-related functions
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fast learner
  • Proactive and detail oriented
  • Excellent professional written and oral English communication skills
  • International environment experience is a plus
