Job Description

As the Executive Producer on Rocksmith+, you'll work closely with our shared tech and dev teams to produce one of the most respected and best loved multi-platform music educational tools in the world. You'll be supporting multiple agile teams with different tech specialties: server backend, test/build, dev-ops, data tracking, tools, platform engineering, and digital signal processing. You'll need to speak their language at a high level and always be on the look-out for ways to unblock and support their progress.

You are the Chief Executive Motivator of our product development teams inspiring every team member to produce their greatest work, always. You are steadfast and vigilant, always keeping fully alert to the weaknesses, strengths, threats and opportunities facing the development teams. You will manage a product development team of producers, game content managers, and associate producers in the production of high-quality Ubisoft Entertainment external software products. Maintain overall planning and budgetary responsibilities for this global successful product. You’ll be collaborating with team leaders, management, and our external partners daily ensuring our projects progress to successful completion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Directly manage a team of several Producers responsible for the full life cycle of product development
  • Responsible for the profit and loss of the product. Guide the team members to reach agreed upon goals and achieve company revenue and profit targets
  • Mentors key project management areas of scheduling, budget, quality, communication and time management while motivating and guiding the senior management team
  • Enhance relationships with developers, licensors, and internal departments including Executive Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations and UBI .com
  • Identify and promote efficient and innovative solutions to increase profitability
  • Present new game ideas, licenses or technologies
  • Provide annual evaluations for direct reports and provide measurable growth goals
  • Responsible for hiring and training new employees while fostering and enhancing our company culture and external studio relations
  • Travels to developers or licensors when required
  • Assist in any other assignments as directed by supervising manager
  • Reports to Executive Management of Production

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience shipping console/PC/Service apps from conception to release
  • Proven management experience with a deep understanding of game production
  • Worked in a leadership capacity on high-profile title or app
  • Led large-production projects or similar experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and analytical in decision making
  • Positive attitude and outlook
  • Solid understanding of the interactive and music industry
