Your main mission

The IT Department of Ubisoft is looking for an ERP Technical Lead in Bucharest studio. As a Technical Lead, you will be both the manager of multiple developers and the technical lead on one or more products.

The development team is part of a global product team and this position involves daily interactions with colleagues in France, Canada and the USA.

What you’ll do

Regarding Team management

  • Lead by example and ensure the team motivation and commitment to the department objective
  • Assess the team performance and help member grow
  • Handle recruitment and induction of new team members
  • Proactively propose evolutions to process and methodologies to help the team

Regarding Technical leadership

  • Work with projects managers on estimating the feasibility and complexity of new products/features
  • Design the architecture of new products/features autonomously or with an architect
  • Coordinate the development activities: task assignments and monitoring, code review, testing and documentation, release processes
  • Provide best practices and make sure they are respected
  • Provide daily support to team members on ongoing development
  • Interface with OPS teams hosting the products

What you’ll bring as experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of development experience
  • 2+ years of development team leading experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain flows (ERP & EDI) and of the business processes
  • Strong project management skills: global coordination of all team’s initiatives, task estimations, assignment, follow-up, communication within project team, risk assessment
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Agile practitioner is a plus
  • Very good English level
