Representing Ubisoft's interests to government authorities, institutions and the business community, the Director - Corporate Affairs is primarily responsible for coordinating all of Ubisoft's corporate activities in these provinces.
Responsibilities
For the central and western provinces of Canada, the main and usual duties of this occupation are:
- Representing Ubisoft's interests with the company's various current and potential partners, whether governmental, municipal, diplomatic, financial, corporate, university or college;
- In collaboration with the Associate Vice President, Corporate Affairs, you will identify, evaluate and propose new avenues of partnership, in concert with institutional and business partners, to meet the challenges of Ubisoft's studios and general services;
- Analyze issues and problems related to the company or the digital entertainment industry (immigration, taxation, intellectual property, etc.) and recommend courses of action;
- Acting as an administrator or member on various boards of administrators or working groups related to his or her responsibilities within the company and with external partners;
- Liaise and coordinate projects with Ubisoft's various internal and external stakeholders;
- Write arguments, letters and briefs to support the company's files and positioning;
- Participate in the realization of special mandates of coordination, canvassing and negotiation;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in law, administration, communication or any relevant training or experience;
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a related field;
- Experience in strategic business and/or government relations;
- Knowledge of the video game industry is an asset.
