Job Description

Your Role

As the Digital Media Specialist at Ubisoft Chengdu, you play a vital role in strengthening Ubisoft’s presence and influence as a best employer in various digital media channels with compelling stories and messages. You will work closely with the Communications Manager and peers to create media content for various media channels such as inhouse newsletter, intranet, social media, etc. You are also responsible for planning and implementing digital media campaigns to engage the internal and external communities, promote the studio’s employer branding. A successful media specialist has excellent knowledge and skills of digital communication. We expect you to be a powerful interviewer, a good storyteller, a thoughtful media analyst.

What you will do

  • You will work closely with Communications Manager to define and develop a strategy for digital media communications across various channels.
  • You will design and manage end-to-end digital campaigns/projects for the various subjects.
  • You autonomously create and follow the digital media publishing and campaign schedule to engage the public and make studios stand out in the talent market.
  • You will produce digital content (e.g. newsletter, blogs, press releases, podcasts, etc.) with great creativity.
  • You ensue we maintain a strong online company voice through social media (including but not limited to Weibo, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin)
  • You constantly monitor ROI and KPIs for constant improvement.
  • You stay up-to-date with digital media trends and iterate accordingly.
  • You communicate with internal stakeholders including Marketing Communications, project teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital media channels.

Qualifications

  • Your managers know that they can entrust you with projects independently, you are proactive and able to manage several subjects at the same time.
  • You are comfortable in an agile environment, where roadmaps can evolve according to news, stakeholders, studio projects.
  • Whether in the language of English or Chinese, you know how to make your articles eye-catching, your pen is enchanting.
  • You are curious, you follow the subjects of domestic and global societal developments and gaming industry.
  • You are the know-it-all in your field, with 3-5 years working experience in social media management and corporate communication.
  • You are a team player, always provides support to internal stakeholders on corporate content-related matters.
  • You are passionate about games and the way they are produced.
