Job Description

Global Strategic Insight team is looking for a Data Scientist to join them. This team works closely with other analysts from the GSI Games & Brands teams and the Data Office, to model knowledge, broaden the scope of analyses, cross-reference perspectives and develop tools to monitor game performances.

As a Data Scientist, you will support the Games & Brands teams on 3 brands, including one of Ubisoft Montreal's flagship franchises (Assassin's Creed, Far Cry or Rainbow Six), depending on your profile.

Responsabilities

  • Query tracking databases in our games to enrich the profiles of respondents to Games & Brands studies with behavioral data;

  • Nourish player knowledge and decision-making on our games and brands;

  • Segment the current and target audience of gamers, by cross-referencing perspectives on behavior, motivations, expectations and satisfaction, so as to predict the impact of evolutions in gameplays and business models on the performance of future games;

  • Act as statistical expert to prevent and guarantee the quality of the analyses carried out, while supporting the Games & Brands team in its development;

  • Program web tools and applications for data transformation, statistical analysis and visualization;

  • Ensure effective communication between GSI Games & Brands and GSI Data Science on the brands you manage; share operational issues and decisions, promote data science methods, models and tools.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in Data Science and Data Analytics in massive data environments

  • Experience in Machine Learning and/or MLOps in massive data environments;

  • Experience with SQL database;

  • Understanding with SPSS statistical software;

  • Competence in popularizing data to various stakeholders;

  • Mastery of the Dataiku software solution is an additional asset for this position.
