As a community management specialist within the TG, you’ll create and maintain communities of practice to build expertise and collaborations across Ubisoft.

From animation programming to data management, the communities you’ll guide will be wide-ranging but always relevant.

Listening to and staying aware of the realities of TG members, you’ll oversee the evolution of new and existing communities of practice, providing them with the structure and support they need to flourish.

Through your help in the fulfillment of these internal communities, employees throughout the company will benefit from open discussions and, together, elevate the way we create games.

About the Technology Group (TG)

At the Technology Group (TG), we provide tools, middleware, and services adapted to the needs of Ubisoft game production teams. Be it front-end or back-end solutions, tools, or expertise, we support our productions throughout their life cycle. Through collaboration and innovation, we contribute to boosting the efficiency of pipelines and the development of products to deliver quality games to millions of players worldwide. Exploring ideas, experimenting with new technologies, and implementing stable ones are part of our daily life.

What you'll do

In a role focused on managing communities of practice, monitoring and evaluating, and communicating, you’ll:

  • Rally and support internal communities ranging from 4 to 300 people + support them in achieving their professional goals.

  • Identify content to be shared, events to be held, and development and learning opportunities.

  • Be the point of contact for the TG for all questions community-centred.

  • Produce reports and analyses related to community management activities + assess the degree of maturity of communities to come up with concrete actions for improvement.

  • Focus on the best ways to structure and design community interaction and engagement + create a network of contributors and experts.

  • Contribute to developing long-term strategic plans for community management, prioritizing 4-5 relevant topics per year.

  • Promote the use of Ubisoft's own sharing tools in partnership with the Knowledge Management team.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Experience in community management or other relevant experience

  • Interpersonal skills that allow you to connect with others and bring people together

  • The ability to gain a deep understanding of your collaborators’ needs to best address them

  • Writing skills in both English and French

  • The capacity to take initiative, facilitate, and lead discussion sessions

  • A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications (or related training)

  • Critical thinking skills (particularly to assess and address gaps) and a curiosity for improvement

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Miro would be a plus
