The Cinematic Designer Intern’s main task is to work with people from different disciplines to come up with and create in-game cutscenes. Their responsibilities are to ensure the realization of these cutscenes and make sure they look good cinematically and still contain the information they need. A Cinematic Designer’s role is similar to an Editor when it comes to filmmaking – so an interest in cinematography, editing and cameras would be necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create in-game cinematics using proprietary tools;
  • Choose the right animations, cameras and staging to tell the story;
  • Work with a diverse team of artists, designers and writers;
  • Experience or interest in cinematography and editing will help greatly;
  • Responsible for technical and creative work in the preparation of video for projects and studio;
  • Produce and deliver on time videos regarding the quality and the objectives expected.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • An animation background is preferred;
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere / Adobe After Effects;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels;
  • Knowledge in Unity is a plus;
  • Knowledge in Cinematography, Film, and Animation is a plus;
  • Skills in handling digital equipment and ability to meet deadlines.
