Job Description

Ubisoft is currently looking for a Business Process Analyst to work within the IT Live Games team in the IT department. Live Games helps Ubisoft’s internal customers create not only a platform to host the games but also accompanying a game during its entire lifecycle: before its launch (architecture design, Technology R&D, budget and cost management tools recommendation etc.), during development and launch phases, and after its launch (operations, reporting and metrics, 24/7 monitoring and administration and incident/request management).

Acting as an agent for change, you will be responsible to optimize processes, continuous improvements and lead the implementation of new solutions and processes for the budget, administrative and transversal programs.

Reporting to the Project and Account Manager in charge of the coordination team, you will be working in collaboration with various internal clients to transform the live operations ecosystem of the games by taking on challenging initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations and develop sub-processes aimed at optimizing activities, processes, and business practices;
  • Work with various internal and external clients on joint projects and provide information to stakeholders on a specific process or activity;
  • Gather requirements regarding technological solutions to satisfy IT Live Games and corporate needs and analyze, build, and optimize KPIs and metric dashboards related to IT Live Games activities;
  • Document improvements, changes, or test cases/plans;
  • Support the various stages of implementation in the distinct phases such as development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), load tests (LT), and launch, and ensure proper follow-up;
  • Educate stakeholders and lead the knowledge transfer and documentation of the innovative solutions;
  • Participate in the Business Analyst / Process Managers community.

Qualifications

Education and relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) designation from IIBA an asset;
  • Project management certification such as PMP an asset;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT business analysis, IT project management or equivalent experience;
  • Experience with data analysis, financial and process design.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good knowledge of requirement management, project lifecycle, and business process design;
  • Good knowledge of the analysis and conception of IT software and systems such as Excel, Tableau or other related BI tools;
  • Understanding of different project delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, an asset;
  • Knowledge of an IT service management product such as ITIL and Service Now;
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and its relation to applications and business services, an asset;
  • Understanding of interface ergonomics and design;
  • Curious, proactive and open-minded;
  • Data analysis skills (using Excel, SQL or other tools);
  • Adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent English & French skills (spoken and written).
