Job Description

The Brand Portfolio Management department is a multidisciplinary team at Ubisoft’s international headquarters and located in 6 sites around the world (Paris, Montreal, San Francisco, Shanghai, Malmö and Montpellier). The team brings together more than 100 people and collaborates with all entities within Ubisoft to develop our portfolio strategy and brand management and to support our game projects to optimize their market strategy.

We are looking for a Brand, Consumer & Market Senior Analyst to join our marketing research team, whose mandate is to deepen our knowledge of our markets, our consumers, and the long-term evolution and trends of our environment in order to support the most informed strategic and operational decisions.

In this role, you will be in charge of using all types of data (quali, quanti, tracking, etc...) and you will notably rely on:

  • Consumer research, led either internally or in collaboration with institutes, based mainly on quantitative attitudinal and behavioral data, but also qualitative studies and more regular studies on our brands;
  • Analysis and identification of consumer insights in order to propose actionable learnings and strategic recommendations to internal teams (operational teams and top management);
  • The department's other areas of expertise (market analysis and trends, Data Science, new markets, etc.) in order to offer the most comprehensive insights possible, as well as the team members based in Paris and in the production studios in France and abroad, in order to ensure the sharing and pooling of learnings and the construction of transversal projects.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must have significant experience in the use of consumer data and insights and/or in brand portfolio management in an international context. You have a holistic approach and are able to juggle multiple databases.

We are also looking for someone who is passionate about video games and has a solid understanding of the industry's challenges.

  • You have a strong ability to analyze, structure, synthesize and make sense of information;
  • You have demonstrated strong project management skills: you are able to work on simultaneous projects, provide structure and organization, aim for and deliver a high level of quality, and get input from others;
  • Sensitivity to marketing and brand issues is essential to best support our teams;
  • And you speak English fluently because you must be able to work daily in English, both written and spoken.
