Job Description

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is an action-adventure sci-fi RPG and set in the same universe as Ubisoft’s original cult classic. Join the crew at Ubisoft Mainz and help us create the best possible experience for our players.

As Senior 3D Artist youwill work closely with the Lead Artist and Concept Artists in order to create beautiful 3D environments and objects.

Responsibilities:
The main and routine functions of the Senior 3D Artist are to

  • Create high quality AAA game assets
  • Work closely with concept artists to realize a believable and breathtaking game world
  • Design, prototype and create buildings, environments, landscape elements and game objects

Qualifications

What it takes to make it:

  • At least 7 years’ experience in 3D Art (within the gaming industry is an advantage)
  • Experience in creating 3D models and textures
  • Outstanding knowledge of Photoshop and 3ds Max
  • Creative with an excellent eye for details
  • Very strong technical understanding of 3D processes
  • Strong texturing and drawing skills
  • Ability to deliver high- and low poly assets
  • Ability to get the best results using normal maps and material usage
  • Ability to easily communicate in English
  • Experience with mudbox or zbrush is a plus

Artists should enclose a portfolio or link to an online portfolio to their application. As part of the recruitment process, the candidates might be asked to perform an art test.
