Job Description

Anno is a critically acclaimed and award-winning franchise, offering a rich city-building experience and providing players ample opportunity to create huge metropolises, plan efficient logistics networks, explore and settle new lands and dominate their opponents by diplomacy, trade or warfare.

As an Associate Producer on the ANNO team, you will implement best processes, methods, and tools to help the team deliver a project on time and budget, without sacrificing quality. In this role you will ensure the attainment of production objectives and the advancement of project related work, while playing a key role in maintaining a highly motivated team.

Reporting to a Producer, you assist in the development of assigned products from concept to release, build strong relationships with your stakeholders, and collaborate closely with the entire production team to support our ambition of growing the ANNO brand into a worldwide premier empire builder franchise.

What you will do:

  • Lead and take responsibility for certain areas of production in close collaboration with a producer

  • ​​​​​​​Help the development team to work efficiently on all their tasks, assess risks, and stay on track with deliverables

  • Help identify and resolve problems or blockers that may have an impact on project delivery; This explicitly not only contains issues/blockers with tasks/scheduling, but also qualitative issues with the product

  • Monitor team health. Highlight and escalate potential issues and support taking actions to resolve them when necessary

  • Document and maintain project information

  • Act as a point of contact for all logistical needs of the development team and some external stakeholders. Promote and facilitate process/workflow improvements

  • Organize, protocol, and follow up on development/team meetings


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience

  • 3+ years of experience working on development projects (ideally contributed to all phases of the project-life cycle)

  • Knowledge of project management methods

  • Good understanding of the games development procedures and are eager to help optimizing them in your team

  • Fluent in spoken and written English ​​​​​​​
