Twofivesix is a marketing agency that focuses on games, play and interactivity. We are looking for an associate creative director.

You will develop original concepts, oversee multiple projects through execution, and inspire a growing team. As the ACD you will be taking creative projects from brief to completion, providing new ideas and creativity while working closely with the client’s brand guidelines. You understand games, culture and the interplay of the two to leverage cultural moments to create those ideas. You will conceive creative solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives as outlined by existing and potential clients. You will also be responsible for articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices.

You’ll work with our head of business development grow new business and our strategy and content leads to develop solid client relationships. You will direct all phases of creative work from concept through production. You will be responsible for mentoring and leading junior creative staff through critique of their work to maintain consistent creative quality and award winning work.

Your Profile

You are:

  • PRAGMATIST: The perfect is the enemy of the good. In creative environments, making the right decision should before making the perfect decision. You maintain a very high level to maintain the quality of the work, but you’re strategic and smart.
  • PERSUASIVE: Good ideas are only as strong as their delivery. You are a smooth-talker with clients who addresses their concerns with creative without defense or attitude. You’re able to predict their needs and sell your ideas without an ounce of friction.
  • TEAM-PLAYER: No rock-stars or ninjas or astronauts, please. We’re looking for people who bring out the best in others. You’re able to provide feedback with radical candor, but without deflating the ego. People come to you to solicit feedback and walk away the better for it.
  • OPPORTUNISTIC: What are we not doing? How can we do what we’re doing, but better? You see existing opportunities and run with them. You’re constantly pushing your team and clients to try something new, not because it’s good for you, but because it’s good for them.
  • COOL-HEADED: Nobody likes temper tantrums. You maintain your cool under pressure and don’t take it out on other people. You know how to deliver the right message at the right moment in the right method.
  • OMNIVOROUS: You are platform agnostic. You jump from video to social to print and back again. You’re constantly trying out new ways to communicate with others and look for insights.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years experience in a creative leadership role (at least 3+ years agency environment).
  • A strong working knowledge of visual design, culture, and the creative process.
  • Recognized expertise in one of the following: gaming, esports, creative direction
  • Advanced experience managing the creative development process in a client-services environment.
  • Comprehensive awareness and interest in new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related mediums.
  • Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and schedule.
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs.
  • Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills are a plus
