In this role, you will be a key contributor in the development and implementation of high visibility marketing programs for the North American market. Expertise across the Gaming vertical is imperative as you will be responsible for spotting trends that are unique to Twitter, connecting gamers to the brand. You are obsessed and belong to the #GamingTwitter community from esports tournaments and creators to most-talked games and platforms. You’re a digital native (emphasis on Twitter) ingrained in meme culture, and have the ability to turn data into insights while flexing some creativity. The ideal candidate understands how to position Twitter’s brand and uniqueness in powerful ways to amplify the most interesting conversations. You are a data-driven marketer with a track record of measurable results across consumer campaigns. You are a problem-solver and consistently provide a unique voice and perspective to complex issues. You understand audience needs and how to apply different narratives within a diverse range of channels. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a large range of stakeholders is a must.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent with marketing emphasis
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, digital media or brand functions
- Knowledge and passion for the video game industry, and its discourse on Twitter
- Proven track record at working on consumer marketing within highly cross functional organizations
- Ability to handle the pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced tech environment
- An excellent understanding of all aspects of go to market (inbound and outbound)
- Proven ability to direct the work of others by effectively delegating and setting individual goals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
