About The Role

The Sales Marketing team supports the Advertising Sales team through the integration of strategy, content, demand generation and event programs. Our goal is to develop the B2B Twitch brand, educating and inspiring brands and agencies to work with Twitch to reach our valuable audience. Responsibilities of this team include collateral, case studies, branded content, digital marketing, events and client hospitality.

The Sales Marketing Manager in Japan is a new role at Twitch in APAC, which reports to the APAC Sales Marketing Director based in Singapore. You will work with the central marketing team in Singapore to develop, localise and execute strategies primarily for Japan.

You will be an accomplished international marketer who has experience working across the full marketing mix for an international business, including events, collateral and digital marketing.

You Will

  • Localise central sales collateral, including presentations, videos and infographics, ensuring that the sales narrative aligns with the global story and is translated and packaged for local markets
  • Work with sales teams to ensure that sales narratives are communicated and understood, collect feedback on how to improve stories for the region to build awareness, enable sales, and increase revenue
  • Work with Event Marketing Manager and sales leadership to identify and assess local events to build brand awareness with media agencies, brands and creative agencies
  • Manage B2B event promotions, including database management, creative production, writing and reporting
  • Express the value proposition and benefits of Twitch’s ad products, solutions and audience, and weave this knowledge into event activations and client communications
  • Localise B2B email marketing program, including database management, writing and reporting
  • Scope out relevant industry awards and work with Content Marketing Manager and sales leadership to identify campaigns and write compelling award entries
  • Maintain campaign case study library
  • Report on Sales Marketing activity, highlighting insights, success and attribution

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience planning, creating and delivering premium, engaging digital campaigns for a sales organisation
  • Fluency in English and Japanese
  • Expertise using Pardot (or similar) to manage client databases, email campaigns and landing pages
  • Experience in executing B2B events, webinars and conferences
  • Expertise in quantifying the impact of sales marketing programs
  • Experience writing and localising copy and creating presentations to reach potential and existing advertisers
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in (a) APAC language(s), in particular Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese
  • A gaming/streaming background
  • The ability handle changing graphics in Photoshop
  • Experience managing the production of videos, infographics
