- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years’ experience in client-facing insights roles at an agency, publisher or client
- Ability to translate technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights for the advertiser and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent data driven storytelling skills – you create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals.
- Complete understanding of the end-to-end process of marketing campaign development and execution
- Knowledge base of syndicated measurement as it pertains to the advertising industry (Comscore, Nielsen, etc)
- Experience with statistical analysis and experience in survey design & analysis
- Strong project and time management skills with experience partnering with teams from across the business
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a complex work environment, focusing on high-value activities

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Twitch Insights Director focused on our Client Insights arm of the Insights & Measurement organization. This Director will develop the Client Insights practice and lead the team to analyze insights from Twitch’s 1st and 3rd party data and develop custom insights to support Sales opportunities. The Director will partner with relevant account teams to identify client challenges and focus areas, with the goal of creating client value, maximizing revenue and partnership growth. They will develop a category based practice to build out vertical sales strategies, create standardized reporting and tracking of audience behaviors and develop data-driven insights and recommendations for Sales leadership.
You Will:
- Use Twitch’s 1P and 3P data sets and your deep understanding of the advertising industry to provide guidance to current and prospective partners/clients via daily insight requests, business reviews and presentations to help them execute a winning strategy on Twitch.
- Deliver regular and bespoke analyses and insights for some of the worlds largest advertisers to drive performance across advertiser KPIs and help them grow their businesses
- Create competitive advantages for Twitch by delivering insights that help define strategy for go-to market pitches that demonstrate the power of the Twitch community
- Present findings and insights in a consultative way to the client and collaborate with the relevant internal teams in order to provide a complete solution
- Understand the competitive landscape, advertising trends, and client needs for advertising with an eye toward translating this business intelligence into recommendations that can be actioned.
- Collaborate with Primary Research around key client challenges and identify trends to build the thought leadership roadmap
Inform creative innovations by partnering with Brand Partnerships Studio team & develop creative best practice learnings
- Experience delivering client facing reports and presenting strategic recommendations that drive change
- Experience with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agencies
- Experience working with Sales teams
- Proficiency with SQL - ability to write basic queries from scratch and modify complex queries
