About the Role:
The research team at Twitch is a dynamic group of mixed methods researchers. We advocate for a human-centered approach to product design and GTM strategy. We bridge the gap between our users, designers, product managers, marketers, and engineers to build empathy, inform strategy, and identify opportunities to improve the Twitch experience.
As a Sr. Research Operations Manager, you will build the systems and programs that allow researchers to do their most impactful work. You will report directly to the Head of Research, work with the other research operations experts, and be a strategic partner recommending scalable solutions as we continue to grow.
You Will:
- Be the operations and strategic partner to the Head of the Research - oversee the systems to manage workflow, advise on recruitment resources, and identify new opportunities to improve the effectiveness of how we work.
- Optimize and grow the essential processes that allow research to grow, including overseeing the lab system and tools, data governance, tool and vendor management, recruitment, and knowledge management
- Own the strategy and recruitment system at Twitch to ensure our process is efficient, compliant, and a delightful experience for participants and researchers
- Run the community research panel, including recruitment, incentive strategy, member experience, essential program indicators, and best practices and how-to guides
- Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure all engagements meet the needs of the research team and procurement, legal, security, and privacy requirements. Work with research leads to identifying new tools and opportunities to improve the way we work
- Develop and document processes, best practices, and templates to ensure workflow is consistent and efficient across researchers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in a research operations or program management role
- 2+ years of experience directly managing recruitment for qualitative and quantitative research and through community panels
- Experience with SQL, Excel, and email programs to produce participant lists and manage recruitment
- Familiarity with mixed methods research methodologies to advise on recruitment strategies, process, and tools
- Experience in data privacy policies (CCPA, GDPR), vendor management, procurement, and incentive management
