About the Role

We are looking for a frontend engineer who is passionate about building products through rapid experimentation. Want to help Twitch Creators to grow their communities by improving the creator experience at Twitch? Do you enjoy the challenge of building products with our customers? If so, you'd be a great fit for the Creator Growth team. You'll report to the Engineering Manager within the Creator Growth organization and join a team of passionate individuals to build products that solve and improve the lives of Twitch creators across the world!

You Will:

  • Work closely with product and UX to craft seamless experiences to enable creators to thrive within the Twitch ecosystem

  • Use cutting-edge web technologies to build rich web user interfaces

  • Be able to define and build APIs to support a wide variety of use cases which benefit creators

You Have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

  • 3+ years of experience in web development, ideally on consumer facing products

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and expertise in at least one JavaScript framework

  • Limited full stack software development experience - you should be comfortable writing JavaScript for the same project

  • Strong foundation of data structures and algorithms

  • Participate in the team's oncall rotation

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Typescript, React and React hooks

  • Experience with GraphQL

  • Experience as a streamer or content creator

  • An understanding of basic UX principles and design
