About The Role

We are looking for passionate software engineers who are excited to solve challenging trust and safety problems. As a software engineer on Twitch’s Community Health team, you will build features for our customers such reporting flows, user blocks, and other safety features that ensure our users have positive, safe experiences on Twitch - we believe that everyone is entitled to thrive on our platform.

You Will

  • Embrace and champion engineering best practices within your group and Twitch
  • Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and well written documentation
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other collaborators to build great experiences
  • Partner with fellow engineering teams to deliver on complex initiatives together

You Have:

  • BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience of Software development in one or more of the general purpose programming languages: C/C++, Go, Python , Java
  • Desire to write production quality code

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity in the AWS ecosystem of services (EC2, RDS, Dynamo, Lambda, and CloudWatch)
  • Proficiency in frontend or full stack development
  • Fluency in data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and schema design
