About the Role

The Video Platform's core API and Analytics team owns both the API platform for developers to create their own live streaming experiences and analytics feature that distribute and visualize operational metrics to our customers. As the Senior Technical Product Manager, you will collaborate with the Video Platform's core API and Analytics team to help determine and deliver the customer experience. You will work closely with other video platform PMs and engineers to balance prioritizing product deliverables, and managing product teams' expectations. This role will require working closely with multiple product and business teams in AWS to drive alignment.

You have experience creating the product roadmap for early-stage products, developing strategy based on customer data, an understanding of ideal developer experiences, and ability to present to senior executives across the company.

You Will:

  • Own the customer and technical roadmap for the Amazon IVS video API and Analytics platform
  • Develop detailed, crisp requirements, user stories, and product specifications
  • Manage trade-offs among customer experience and performance
  • Display technical acumen through both verbal and written communication
  • Communicate product plans and results that influence senior executives

You Have:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management
  • 3+ years experience shipping products in B2B, SAAS industry
  • Experience translating customer needs into detailed product requirements
  • Technical fluency; ability to discuss mobile and web architecture and technologies, gauge complexity of a planned feature, make schedule tradeoffs, and evaluate roadmap timeframes with technical team members

The pay range for this position in Colorado and Connecticut is $134,250 - $200,625 yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act and CT House Bill Number 6380. Base pay information is based on market location.
