About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Regional IT Lead, APAC to join our growing Service Desk team. This role will be based in Singapore. If you're looking to join a motivated team, then we'd love to hear from you!

As the Regional IT Lead, APAC, you will provide support for client hardware and software on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. Additionally, you will support audio-visual meeting room equipment at your site. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working as part of a distributed team based in the United States and United Kingdom, and with all kinds of users.

You have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software), and an ability to apply new technology. You have technical skills, and the ability to deal patiently with people in different situations. Additionally, you must have demonstrated problem-solving ability. You will report to the IT Manager, EMEA & APAC.

You Will:

  • Resolve complex issues that may not be well documented, and apply your knowledge to improving and creating standard operating procedures and documentation
  • Provide personalised support to Twitch employees based from our Singapore IT Service Desk
  • Help remote employees based around the world to troubleshoot and gain hardware/software support with tickets and other company communication channels
  • Maintain our conference room AV technology, Games Lab, printers, and other IT-related site equipment
  • Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding for users based in APAC
  • Manage our IT assets through the entire lifecycle, including purchasing, repairs, and secure disposal.
  • Manage our IT ticket queue to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Purchase, image, and deploy laptops for employees both locally in Singapore and remote across APAC

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience of working in an IT Desktop Support role
  • Have broad knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on macOS, Windows 10, Linux, and managing Mac and PC's in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to perform advanced system administration activities and are a subject expert in at least one area of technology
  • Have an understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications
  • Exposure or some experience to scripting and programming. Showing us something you've built counts as a bonus
  • An understanding and awareness of Security standards
  • Demonstrated ability in leading or playing important roles in large cross-functional projects and delivering those projects on time and within guidelines
