About the Role

The Original Content team at Twitch manages some of the most exciting content and new ideas in the industry. We're seeking a product manager to manage relationships with our flagship AAA game publishers across North America and Europe -- specifically Epic Games, Riot Games, Activision-Blizzard, and EA -- and implement a creator-focused content strategy that fills a gap in each community for the Twitch Rivals calendar. You will report to the product & ops lead for Twitch Rivals and coordinate closely with our current content and community teams. The Product Manager, Twitch Rivals role will be a competitive entertainment expert who is passionate about creator-focused content. You will follow gaming trends, lead show planning, collaborate with teams, build on our partnership with game publishers, get stakeholder approval, partner with cross functional departments to run the event, and write post-event reports. You are a passionate community member for a few games, and can pick up a new game if called upon. We're looking for someone excited to help redefine the future of creator content with Twitch!

This position can be located in Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Irvine, CA.

You Will:

  • Build a content calendar that is exciting and satisfying to creators and the AAA game communities
  • Identify gaps in game communities and build strategies for those communities based on market research
  • Review event data and present opportunities for improvement to the team
  • Manage contractors and production vendors to build events based on your strategy
  • Write and manage event briefs to ensure the Original Content team has all the most up-to-date information on a show
  • Work with Business Development, Marketing, Partnerships, Public Relations, Broadcast Operations, Analytics, and Sales teams
  • Develop relationships with Game Publishers to guarantee a continued mutually beneficial partnership

You Have:

  • 6+ years of competitive entertainment experience
  • Led multiple creator-focused competitive gaming events from start to finish and have experience iterating on those events based on customer feedback
  • 2+ years of experience with both Microsoft and Google app Suites
