About the Role:

The Community Engagement team creates products and solutions that allow Creators to build healthy communities on Twitch. As a Product Manager, you will join a team focused on building products and solutions that help Creators grow and engage their audience through Talk style content (e.g. Just Chatting, IRL, talk shows, podcasts). Talk style content has been an essential part of the Twitch experience for years and is one of the fastest growing content categories. Talk Creators face unique hurdles getting discovered, producing content and interacting with their viewers. You will build high impact features that help Creators to succeed with Talk-style content. Reporting to the Product Lead for Talk you will help define and execute strategy based on a foundation of customer needs with a focus on agile innovation in this space.

You Will:

  • Develop an understanding of Creators needs, aspirations and pain points.
  • Define products and features that align with the Community Engagement Team strategy, in partnership with designers, engineers, researchers and analysts.
  • Drive execution and successful launch of solutions to problems/opportunities on the Talk Creators roadmap
  • Determine appropriate goals and metrics for your products to measure success.
  • Conduct post-launch analyses of launches and present insights/next steps to team members.
  • Work with marketing and other product managers to make decisions that are aligned across the business.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager on user-facing consumer experiences.
  • The ability to turn insights and data into meaningful solutions for customers and lead your projects.
  • A history of executing and shipping products.
  • Able to connect a strategy to a set of customer problems to a set of metrics to a set of features in a logical chain.
  • Written detailed product specifications and A/B test plans.

Bonus Points:

  • Passion for talk style content (e.g. podcasts, talk shows, IRL streams)
  • Led complex projects through launch while handling several moving pieces.
  • History of translating product ideas into expected impact.
  • Experience working on community engagement products
  • Familiarity with streaming and Twitch's ecosystem.
