About the Role
Amazon Interactive Video Service (IVS) is a managed live video service, within Amazon Web Services (AWS), built on top of Twitch Video. It has one of the world's largest live video networks. IVS powers the many companies that are using live video to uniquely engage and build communities, just as it does for Twitch, where more than a billion hours are streamed live each month.
You will report to the VP of IVS Strategy & Operations, and discover new areas to fuel Amazon IVS growth through data-driven insights. You will map the customer journey from trial and onboarding, to retention and feature adoption. Your role is both strategic and operational. You identify needle movers to increase customer lifetime value. You delve into customer value drivers and pain points through customer studies, and quantitative analyses. You will build the strategy, prioritization and roadmap of the growth programs you identify, and will work with IVS teams to guide execution. You Will:
- Analyze demand signals and perform research to gather customer insights/feedback
- Establish satisfaction metrics and drivers across different aspects of the customers' experience with IVS
- Identify service gaps across the customer lifetime (features, pricing, trial, onboarding, migration, and support)
- Refine customer segmentation, and conduct cohort analysis, to determine product value to the customer, customer lifetime value (CLTV) to IVS, and growth levers by cohort
- Partner with Acquisition team to develop product funnel, and build a strategy to reduce churn and win-back
- Conduct Partner landscaping and analyses to inform Partner BD/Marketing programs to grow IVS
- Create a growth roadmap jointly with IVS teams (Data Science, Acquisition, Product Management, Design, Engineering, Support, Customer Engagement, and BD) to close gaps and measure outcomes
- Design and run experiments for retention campaigns (email, in product/console)
You Have:
- 5+ years in (growth) product management or growth analytics at a B2B technology company
- Performed research studies (surveys, interviews ) to id insights on satisfaction and map customer journeys
- Experience performing quantitative and statistical analyses on product usage data to identify patterns and trends
- Experience translating complex data analysis into actions that impact results
- Delivered results growing an enterprise cloud/API service, and working with matrixed teams in a startup
- Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) to manipulate and visualize data
- Bachelors in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline

- 2+ years at a top tier strategy consulting firm
- MBA or Master's degree in product management, strategy, or finance
- Command of business intelligence tools to analyze complex data; competence with SQL (basic queries)

The pay range for this position in Colorado and Connecticut is $120,000 - 200,0000 yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act and CT House Bill Number 6380. Base pay information is based on market location.
